Nuno felting tests

Nuno felting! Nuno felting is a technique that was named by Polly Stirling in mid-1990s. Nuno felting uses woven fiber (usually silk) and fleece combined to make the fibers go through the weave of the cloth and entagle on the back side. A new strongly textured hybrid fabric developed as fibers shrink (Davidson, 2011; White, 2007).

I did the first nuno felting test on silk chiffon and silk organza (14mm). It took me almost two hours to finish the whole process.
