Ling Zhang and Chanmi G. Hwang (02/2015) Two women's leather jacket and 16 ties were upcycled into a women's dress that was inspired by gothic architecture. Patterns were strategically placed and digitized through Optitex to ensure minimum waste. Based on the inspiration, patterns (pointed arch and flowers etc.) were developed in Illustrator and parts of leather were laser cut using Trotec.
